Graduate Research related to the Project

To enhance the sustainability of the project, the benchmark is being used in graduate research. In the first phase, there are currently two master students working on the benchmark related topics as follow:

  1. Automatic offset tunneling and calibrating of PLC: the case study of S7-1500
    This master research is based on the problem found during the utilization of PLC’s analog I/O that connected to the emulation card. As the offset is common in every analog channel, the work is design for auto calibration and tuning of each channel.
  2. Four tiers emulation platform
    This master research will establish an emulation that consisted of 4 tiers: PLC, emulation card, mathematic software, and graphical interactive service. The objective is to emulate and control a virtual plant with accurate mechanics and immersive 3D environment.
